A Unicorn? A Dragon? Who knew…. March 20, 2012

Filed under: Faerie Dust & Whimsy — Faerie Magic @ 12:41 pm

Well, the Sonoran Desert Faerie Dust Clan, they decided to introduce me to a Unicorn!  … Well, I don’t know if you will be able to see her horn, she is very shy …. I would love for you to meet Bella.  Bella of the SDFDC chimed in, “See we have the same name … so she must be a Unicorn since I am a Faerie.”  Indeed, it must be true; however, Unicorns, nor any animal , should ever be harmed or disregarded the way poor Bella has been.   She was rescued from a local non-profit agency whom said they had good interests at heart for their animals.  It turns out this is not true and so their aren’t always happy endings or faerie tales.  I am grateful though that this special Unicorn horse could be rescued and given a second chance.  She is currently staying at the HEART of Tucson Rescue where I do some volunteer work.  The faeries and I have gifted her with lots of love along with the other volunteers … (but I don’t think they know she is a Unicorn) 😉

“We need to find her a protector to help her as she gets better,”  Gabby from Faerie insisted … so we found her a trusty companion, Jeevers, who already lives on the property with the owner, Judy.

Just as there are Unicorns at the ranch … so too there are hidden dragons as well … Scout, who is good at finding things, found one for us … this dragon protects the property and all the other creatures living on the special land …

Thank you for sharing on this adventure with us and we are grateful to know many magical creatures exist even when they may seem invisible to the naked eye …
