The Hokey Pokey and More Clownie Sponsorship! February 16, 2012

Filed under: Faerie Dust & Whimsy — Faerie Magic @ 9:34 pm

So I have discovered the secret … the hokey pokey … six months ago while leading a guided meditation and doing some Reiki with the group, I felt called to end the circle with the hokey pokey to have things not be so “serious” and create some levity around the meditation to take with each person throughout the day.  Then I co-clowned a class and had the adult students do the hokey pokey as well as part of the warm-up exercises.  Yesterday at Bookman’s … a used bookstore and more … I discovered a book :

“The Hokey Pokey IS What It’s All About” …. I KNEW it! … they don’t teach us this in school … today one of my clients arrived and was quite frazzled and tense … after her bodywork session, we talked about creating levity … I told her about this book and then both of us ran upstairs and nabbed an unsuspecting by-stander and the three of us did the hokey pokey in the courtyard … thank goodness to whomever created this song … (the faeries tell me once again that it was them and the humans borrowed it …. but that’s another story) …

I am also grateful for another clownie sponsor for my trip!

May we all hokey pokey together!
