Creating Magic

May your day be sprinkled with pixie dust

Faerie Dust Travel Log 7: Oregon Lewis and Clark Lake & Soaring Eagle Washington Park July 27, 2011

Filed under: Faerie Dust & Whimsy — Faerie Magic @ 3:05 pm

More tales of the Faeries journey continued …. our next stop took us through Oregon, across the Lewis and Clark Bridge and over into Washington where we all enjoyed time in the Soaring Eagle Park with super cool friends.

…. In the ponds of Lewis and Clark park, we spied

with our Kermie, Piggy and Faerie Friend eyes

a beautiful lake …

…. with the gentle sprinkling of the rain

upon our heads, the faeries and muppet gang,

      took shelter under rose umbrella

and played lots of rainy day games …

….  as we sat and chatted with the falling rain

       loud noises we overheard

Scout went out to take a look,

not afraid of the sprinkling water

      and low-and-behold told us of

a must look see matter ….

….. Duck, Duck, Goose

is the game we all began to play

one in all in this rainy

Oregon day.  Then off we went over the

       bridge and into Washington

to visit with some more faerie

       friends that lived

       nearby…..

……  our visit was not complete to Washington

and Soaring Eagle park until we met a new

slimy friend on the path almost near dark,

Mr. Greenslug is what he called himself …

……. After we were all slimed by meetings and greetings

          galore,  the wilderness we all began to explore;

here we found many fine friends abound,

one was this nice bird with her mouth too full

to chat, but she shook her head hello instead

and we happily met her acquaintance …

…. Belle and Gabby went a found

       a nice tree friend, Percival,

is how his name sounds.  He

was pleased to meet us as well

and shared the shade of his

branches with our clan and crew

for as large as his branches grew ….

….. as we walked and travelled through,

the faerie dust clan grew hungry

         and our tummies grumbled.   Twig

         found some fabulous elder berries

on which to snack as we all reclined

and relaxed on our backs ….

…. our lovely earthly guide and friend

on this fabulous park tour was

Miss Kathy of Greenleaves (her honorary

SDFDC faerie dust clan name) ,  a

       portrait Kermie and Piggy wanted

to take, to remember our travels

       with our fun friend.

we hope you enjoyed these adventures of late

our next travel will be about

Idaho Falls and their lovely lake 😉
