Don May’s Adventures into the Canyon with the Sonoran Desert Faerie Dust Clan …. our newest host family for the SDFDC was a happy traveler known as Don May …. he was very happy to travel on his hike with the Faerie Dust Clan … here is a little of what they saw:

On this trail so fair

lead by a pair,

Scout and Don,

walked on, and on, and on …

*******************

Tripping over Cacti

Prickly Pear and Cholla

who jumped and sprang

tried to grab

but everyone ran …

********************

Don and Scout went up to the stones

piled up high,

a natural monument

clear to the sky.

**********************

Belle pointed to the top of the mound

where the rest of the faeries were dancing round

“King of the Mountain”  is the game they all played

as Don watched happily where he had stayed

*******************************

Sprinkling the faerie dust on the ground

Don let the flowers fly

when the key to joy is what he found

when an owl flew by way up in the sky

***************************

Thank you dear travelers

for joining us once again

Thank you from your

Faerie Dust Friends!

*************************************************************************************************************
