Creating Magic

May your day be sprinkled with pixie dust

Leave it to the Birds November 4, 2010

Watching our beloved  fellow fowl creatures, we are given the gift of seeing just how to begin and end our day – in reverence.  To honor and thank Sun for the light and heat and energy that we need for our survival each day.  Just sit and watch the glowing colors of the sunset like our winged teachers.

The gift of the sun’s rays help us to open up just like the flowers that are around us.

    Great reminder.

I thank the sun, the moon, the earth, and the stars on a regular basis. Giving thanks keeps me grounded and elevated at the same time.

I watch the birds in the morning as they face the rising sun. I watch the birds in the evening as they face the setting sun. It is so cool that if I watch them, then I too remember to give thanks like they do every day.

  3. Nature brings such joy. We have a family of deer who visit the field behind our house. What a delight to see them.

I like checking in with the critters around town to find out what we should be focusing on. This week the message, atleast for myself, was just making sure each day to take a look around and greet the day and end the day in thanks. 😉
