I was speaking with the faeries of the Sonoran Faerie Dust Clan and we were perplexed about what we could do to send help or prayers to the people of Japan. Belle said, “Well, Shannon, you know we do Reiki energy work and when we do that just sending prayers allows the help that needs to come forward to manifest.” I said, “Yes, so how can we do this for ourselves and others?” Well, Gabby, who is a chatter box said, “Let make another video! It was so fun last time. Let’s do it again.” So here is our next video …
As a way of creating some healing towards the events in Japan, I decided to put together a prayerful meditation video … the intention of the video is that the candle represents the light in the world and that we focus our loving prayers that Japan and its people, plants and animals receive the assistance they need. I added the Buddhist chant “Om Tara Tuttare” done in song form as a way of inviting a beauty to the flow of the candlelight. Throughout the song are some beautiful quotes from poets around the world that hold the space of peace, love and joy.
